I am interested in having some cGMP siRNA synthesized. Can you help me with this?

We are specialized in serving diagnostic companies with superior quality DNA oligonucleotides, especially complicated ones. Unfortunately, we cannot help you with synthesizing siRNA as it is not our specialty.

Do you perform gene synthesis?

We do not manufacture genes themselves but we do provide oligonucleotides for gene synthesis. We can synthesize long oligonucleotide (150-220 nucleotides). However, someone else must perform the final gene manufacture.

I have recently received a lyophilized product from you , and I need some advice on how to dissolve it appropriate.

To dissolve the oligonucleotide, add approximately 500-1000 μl distilled water, or preferably, buffer at pH 8.0 ± 0.6 through the septum with a needle attached to a syringe. Vortex or shake the vial extensively to dissolve also oligonucleotide attached to the septum. Place the vial in a 50 ml Falcon tube or similar, and centrifuge it at low speed to pellet the liquid from the walls of the vial. When you are confident that the dissolved oligonucleotide is at the bottom of the vial, you may remove the aluminum cap and the septum, and pipet the oligonucleotide. Dilute the oligonucleotide to stock solution ≥ 20 μM. 

Are there any salt residues in your products and in such case what kind of salt?

Our products are desalted in our production process and therefore only small residues of salt are present in our products. When performing MS analyses on our products we have identified these residues to be sodium, potassium and in some cases chloride.

I ordered an Std LC purified oligonucleotide at the 0.15 μmolar scale but only obtained 73 nmoles. How come?

The scale of 0.15 μmol does not describe the final synthesis yield but rather the largest amount of product theoretically to obtain. Due to non-ideal reactions the final yield will not be equal to synthesis scale.
